Everyone knows Tata Motors is working Hyundai Creta and Kia Seltos rival or we can say that a premium mid suv segment for that they choosed a SUV named “Blackbird”. The upcoming Blackbird SUV will be positioned between Tata Nexon and Tata Harrier. The Tata Blackbird will likely be offered with a more powerful version of Tata Nexon’s 1.2-litre turbocharged petrol engine and an upgraded version of the same model’s 1.5-litre turbocharged diesel engine.
As per the media reports, the Tata Blackbird is being benchmarked against the Chery Tiggo 5x, a Chinese SUV that is sold in other emerging markets as well. However, Tata Motors has not released any communication about the car. Tata seems to be having some major plans for the Indian market. It has plans to get into different segments of the market and is already got lead in the race with its EV launches.
