In April 2024, The Indian market sold 3,37,070 units compared to 3,31,509 units in the last year.
Kia Motors: In the month of Apr 2024, the South Korean auto major recorded its sales volume of 19,968 units. It finished on fifth position in the month of April. In Mar 2024, the Sonet was Kia’s best-seller with 9,102 units. It was followed by the Seltos with 6,265 units, Carens with 4,832 units, EV6 with 1 unit sold.
Tata Motors: In the month of March 2024, the Indian auto major recorded its sales volume of 47,883 units (including 6,738+ units of Nexon EV, Tigor EV, Tiago Ev & Punch Ev). It finished 3rd largest car manufacturer among manufacturers ahead of Kia, Mahindra, Honda, Toyota, MG, Skoda.

Major auto manufactures from the April 2024 sales
Maruti Suzuki : Maruti Suzuki sales increased by 0.4 percent on YoY basis. Total 1,37,952 units sold against 1,37,320 units sold in April 2023. Demand pulled by Baleno, Fronx, Swift, Vitara & Wagon R.
Hyundai: Hyundai Motor India has recorded a 50,201 sales in April 2024 as compared to 49,701 units sold in the same month last year. overall a increase of 1.0% YOY basis. Even as the Hyundai Creta continues to lead in terms of sales, the new Exter, Venue and Verna have also added significantly to sales figures in the past month.
Mahindra: Mahindra has recorded a sales of 41,008 units last month as compared to 34,694 units which were sold a year ago. Thanks to the strong demand for Thar, Xuv 700, Bolero & new Scorpion N.
Toyota: Toyota Kirloskar Motor records 18,700 Units In Overall Sales. Company models which generated increased demand through the month of Apr 2024 were the Innova Hycross, Urban Cruiser Hyryder, Innova Crysta and Hilux. Registered a growth of 32.0% per cent over wholesales in Apr 2023.
Tata: Tata’s sales 47,883 units in April and secured 3rd number in sales. Sales increased by 1.9% as compare to last year. MG Motors: MG Motors that sold 4,485 units in April this year. MG Motor India has recorded a year-on-year (YoY) sales de-growth of 1.4% per cent as compare to last year.
